Our Heritage

Parish History

It has been more than a year that we started feeling the divine providence in Windsor in the form of community worship and prayer. It all started with the conversation between our Diocesan Metropolitan H.G.Zachariah Mar Nicholovos and our Achen, Fr. Jerry John Mathew during their meeting at a priest conference. Achen contacted Angel Elsa Alex, Prasad Zachariah and Abey John and we worked together as a unit in coordinating and organizing a community here in Windsor which now is a spiritual asylum for almost 70 members including college students and families. This congregation got officially recognized as St. Joseph’s Orthodox Congregation of Windsor in June 2024.
